News FocusThe Brain CollectorNeuroanatomist Jacopo Annese plans to create a digital, zoomable atlas of the brain of Henry Molaison, the most studied human being in the history of psychology, and make it freely available online—the first entry in what he hopes will become an open-access brain library to be used by scientists, students, or anyone with an Internet connection and an interest in neuroanatomy. Ultimately, the library will include donated brains from people with Alzheimer's disease and other neurological disorders, Annese says, as well as a collection of healthy brains of different ages. But for now, Molaison's brain is the star attraction.
