Durham, North Carolina--Creationists have evolved a new strategy to get their ideas taught in public schools: They propose to teach "scientific evidence against evolution," an angle which buries the religious aspects of the debate. This tactic has sparked creationist measures at the state and local levels around the country and is prompting scientists to act as public defenders of evolution.
