BLM Accused of Neglecting Clovis Sites

TUCSON, ARIZONA--Two of the archaeological sites that have provided numerous insights into the lives of the Clovis people--possibly the first Americans--are deteriorating. Researchers familiar with the sites lay the blame at the feet of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM). But BLM officials maintain they are doing the best they can with the limited funding available.
