CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT:
House Questions Awards to NIH Officials

Investigators for the House Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations have claimed that former National Cancer Institute director Richard Klausner may have violated government ethics rules for accepting lecture fees. The committee has asked the National Institutes of Health to list all lecture awards or prizes received by NIH employees since 1998.
